A candle consisting of combustible material in sheet form and of a wick, which can be lateral (K1) or sloping (K2), the wick being located on and joined to the surface of the combustible material. The combustible material, optimally a paraffin mixture, is formed by pouring and the required candle shape is cut from this mixture whole in a plastic state. The wick is then attached to the candle surface. The system of illumination is characterised by the use of these candles, whereby the flame of at least one wick (K2) is put in a sloping movement and possibly other wicks of the same or other candles are placed in its path, causing the automatic ignition of the succeeding wicks. Combinations of flame movement can be obtained by use of sloping wicks and horizontal wicks or intermediate wicks (K3) joined to the ends of wicks on the same or on different candles.
|
