Injecting water into an air stream from a cement drying oven to an electric filter. Water is ducted from a variable level float tank to an atomiser nozzle fed with compressed air via an adjustable valve. The nozzle sprays water at an acute angle to the air exhaust duct from a cement drying oven. The spray is tangential to a cylinder coaxial with the main duct. Injection prevents coagulation of dust particles and improves the filtration process of the inline electrofilter to give a dust free exhaust from the drying process. The nozzles are attached to the side of the duct by a universal joint to enable optimisation of the spray direction.
