INDICATING POSITIONAL INFORMATION IN A VIDEO SEQUENCE

A method and a system for generating synthetic or composite video images or video sequences where registered positions for natural objects are represented graphically or alphanumerically. The method is based on detection of the positions of natural objects and storing data representing these positions together with associated time reference in a memory, and subsequent processing of these stored data in order to generate suitable representations of the data and possibly differences between them in a video image or video sequence. The system comprises a subsystem for detecting positions and storing them, together with a subsystem for retrieving these stored data from a memory and processing them in order to generate the desired video images or video sequences.
