PURPOSE: To provide a method for selecting point makeup cosmetics which are in harmony with the face, the color of the skin, and the color of the pupils of the eyes. CONSTITUTION: An average face is formed from an average cast of the face, average color of the skin, and average color of lips and pupils based on a plurality of data by means of a computer graphics. Evaluation of the average face, which is coated with point makeup cosmetics, is obtained from questionnaires of a plurality of persons, which evaluation is formed into a color information map and analyzed to obtain color information to produce color information and image suitable for selecting point makeup cosmetics.
