<p>Methods of cast molding toric contact lenses are provided including the steps of providing a first contact lens mold section (10) and providing a molding apparatus (12) and an insert tool (30) adapted to be fixed to the molding apparatus (12) at a plurality of different rotational orientations relative thereto. The insert tool (30) is fixed at one of the plurality of different rotational orientations relative to the molding apparatus (12) and a second mold section (130) including a contour which corresponds to a toric optical zone of the contact lens is assembled with the first mold section (10). A toric contact lens product is cast molded between the mold sections (10, 130).</p> |
