PURPOSE: An automatic volume compensator for car radio system entering weak electric field is provided to input soft mono point signal so that radio listener can hear less noise by converting stereo sound into mono sound. CONSTITUTION: An antenna(1), an AM/FM tuner(2), a tape deck system(3), a compact disk player(4), an amplifier(5), and a speaker(6) are components of a normal automobile radio system. A volume compensator(7) is placed between input and output terminal of the amplifier(5). The volume compensator(7) inputs the output of the amplifier(5) as feedback signal, and outputs compensation signal to the amplifier(5). The AM/FM tuner(2) outputs SMPS(Soft Mono Point Signal) to the volume compensator(7). A control signal is implemented to the volume compensator(7) to convert stereo sound to mono sound automatically when an automobile passes through a weak electric field area in the state where SMPS receives radio broadcasting wave through the AM/FM tuner(2).
