PURPOSE: A percussion instrument is provided to generate new sound by manufacturing a new percussion instrument and striking the instrument by combining a plurality of containers made of metal. CONSTITUTION: A percussion instrument includes sound generating members, a sound adjusting member, a bell frame member(13) and a stool member. The sound generating member is in the form of a container, vibrates by strike and generates sound. The sound adjusting member moves toward a side of the sound generating member and stops generation of sound of the sound generating member when contacting to the side of the sound generating member. The bell frame member has supporters(12), on which the sound generating members are mounted and which are arranged parallel to one another, and a supporting surface connects and supports the supporters. The sound adjusting member is seated on the supporting surface. The stool member is connected by the medium of a connection member for transferring motion of the sound adjusting member and adjusts movement of the sound generating member.
