PURPOSE: A scroll refrigerant compressor for cooling liquid refrigerant is provided to prevent overheat and to cool the compressor by injecting liquid refrigerant to the intermediate biasing pressure chamber or bleed holes arranged specifically. CONSTITUTION: A scroll-type refrigerant compressor(10) comprises first and second scroll members(24,26) having end plates(37,39) in which scroll laps(38,40) are arranged at one side; pressure chambers(60) sealed and arranged opposite to the end plate; first passages(54,56) passing the end plate and communicating the pressure chamber to fluid of a compression chamber if the pressure of compressed fluid is between suction pressure and discharge pressure; and second passages(112) communicating the pressure chambers to liquid refrigerant of a cooling circuit for cooling the compressor. The laps of the scroll members are engaged with each other, and the size of the variable fluid compression chamber is increased at the suction pressure side or decreased at the discharge pressure side in moving the scroll member. Sealing is improved by pressing the scroll member to the other scroll member with intermediate pressure.
