METHOD OF REALIZING SIMPLE AUTHENTICATION PATH IN MULTISTAGE OPEN KEY AUTHENTICATION STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A method of realizing a simple authentication path in a multistage open key authentication structure is provided in which the uppermost authentication organization signs a note of authentication when a terminal user of an authentication system requests issuance of the note of authentication. CONSTITUTION: A terminal user generates a key pair, forms an application of the issuance of a note of authentication and signs the application with a secret key(301). A terminal user authentication organization receives the application of the issuance of a note of authentication from the terminal user to confirm the signature of the terminal user and generates a provisional authentication note to request an upper authentication organization to issue the note of authentication(302). An intermediate authentication organization receives the provisional authentication note from the lower authentication organization to confirm the signature of the lower authentication organization and signs the provisional authentication note to transmit the authentication note to the upper authentication organization(303). The upper most authentication organization receiving the provisional authentication note to confirm the signature of the lower authentication organization to issue the note of authentication to the terminal user(304).
