METHOD OF TESTING REMEDY OR PREVENTIVE FOR HYPERLIPEMIA

A novel method of testing a remedy or a preventive for hyperlipemia; and a nucleic acid probe, a primer and an antibody which are employed in this method. More particularly speaking, a method of testing the effect of a test substance as a remedy or a preventive for hyperlipemia by using the expression of a gene represented by SEQ ID NO:1 or 2 in Sequence Listing, which participates in the control of the blood neutral fat level of mammalians, as an indication; and a nucleic acid probe, a primer and an antibody employed in this method. By using this method, candidates for preventives or remedies for hyperlipemia can be searched for.
