METHOD FOR IDENTIFICATION OF INFORMATION

The invention consists in a method for identifying information (that is defying its value) on carriers (compact discs) read off by means of electromagnetic (laser) radiation which is used in computer, audio- and video techniques. The information is identified depending on an angle of variation of the electromagnetic radiation direction which interacts with a carrier (CD) with the aid of a multi-segment radiation receiver (integral photo detector) as an element for decoding and transforming the angle into information. This results in an increased quantity of information recorded on the carriers (CD) and a higher speed of reading thereof.
