METHODOLOGY, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM FOR ELECTRONIC VISUALIZATION OF TRAFFIC CONDITIONS

An apparatus and method is provided to allow an operator of a vehicle to have an early warning of traffic conditions that may effect his or her travel, traffic conditions in the immediate vicinity of the operator's vehicle and traffic conditions that are a little bit further than the immediate vicinity of the operator's vehicle but still of significance to the operator at the time. An electronic vehicle safety early warning system includes a receiver which receives content signals representative of surrounding traffic conditions, a processing subsystem which processes the signals to format the content signals for display, and a display apparatus which provides a visual display presentation of the surrounding traffic conditions.
