<p>Process for the production of urea superphosphate, which comprises reacting ground urea and ground phosphate rock with sulfuric acid in a single stage, in the presence of gypsum or phosphogypsum, or calcium sulfate monohydrate or anhydrous. Phosphoric acid may be added to the reaction mixture. The reagents may be added simultaneously to a reactor. The urea may be ground to an average granule size of not more than 3 mm, and preferably not more than 1 mm. The gypsum or phosphogypsum is preferably added in an amount from 2 % to 10 % relative to the total weight of raw materials.</p> |
