<p>A flame-retardant epoxy resin composition comprising an epoxy resin, a hardener, and a metal hydroxide, wherein either the hardener is a phenolic resin (C) comprising structural units derived from a phenol (A) and structural units derived from an aromatic compound (B) other than the phenol (A) in the molecular chain or the epoxy resin is a novolak epoxy resin (D) which is the phenolic resin (C) in which the phenolic hydroxyl groups have been etherified with glycidyl. The composition has a high degree of flame retardancy.</p> |
