Radioprotective materials which can be conveniently used for protecting the effects of radiation to which we are exposed unconsciously in our daily life or working environment; and various products made with the use of the same. More particularly speaking, radioprotective materials containing polyamino acid or its derivative wherein amino acids constituting the polyamino acid comprise at lease one member selected from among glutamic acid, phenylalanine, alanine and leucine; and radioprotective materials wherein polyamino acid or its derivative is modified by saccharide components.
