OPTICALLY ACTIVE CHROMAN AND THIOCHROMAN DERIVATIVES

Compounds represented by the general formula (1) or the like, hydrates of the same, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof (wherein X is oxygen or sulfur; m is an integer of 2 to 14; and n is an integer of 2 to 7). The above compounds exhibit antiestrogenic activities higher than those of racemic mixtures thereof, thus being useful as drugs.
