A strap (8,10) is guided from a wristband or a loop (14) holding the patients (13) leg or neck around two return pulleys (11,12) movable joined to the vertical segment (4) of an L-shaped frame (2) to a reel (71), which is attached to the frame underneath the bed (16). A pulling force acting on the joints of the patient (13) is created by the forces of a spring (7), counteracting the forces created by the weight of the patient acting on the strap (8,10). The reel is positioned below the bed (16), facilitating the use of the device (1) even in the case of the bed standing adjacent to a wall.
