The cash-free transaction method uses electronic storage of the supplier data for a number of suppliers and the customer data for a number of customers within a coordination device (17) which is out of the sphere or influence of either the suppliers or the customers. The electric price signal for a selected product is fed to the customer from the coordination device and the purchase data provided by the customer is checked at the coordination device with the stored customer data, for authorizing the purchase. An independent claim for an electrical system for protection of customer data during a cash-free transaction is also included.
