The locking/release element is formed as a locking ratchet (16) sunk aligned and sealed into a pocket (17) in the inside (5) of a peripheral wall (4) of an outer rotor (2). When the min. oil pressure in the working chambers (A,B) drops to below a min. level, and with simultaneous engagement of the rotary blade (10) on the late stop (8), the ratchet pivots out of the peripheral wall and supports itself on the blade, to lock it to the outer rotor.
