The weighing track section has a weighing module with at least one base plate (GP) and at least one support plate (TPL) for the model railway track, coupled together via a measuring bridge (MBL,MBR) containing expansion measuring strips, used for measuring the weight loading of the railway track, e.g. for controlling a digital read-out display.
