The partition wall has at least one rectangular wall element (2.2) mounted between hollow frame profiles (2.1) along the edges and connected on at least three sides to separate profiles which are connected together in at least two corners to a corner connector (4) which fits into the hollow cavities of the adjoining profiles. The frame profiles are mitre cut at their facing end sides.
