The proposed electrical control device has a mounting part (10) to which at least one carrier element (12) for electrical components (14) is attached in detachable fashion. In the region of the upper and lower edges of the carrier element (12), the mounting part (10) has a retaining rail (20, 22) to which the carrier element (12) is attached with special connections (30,34) gripping the rail (20, 22) from behind. At least one lower connection is a hook (30) and at least one upper connection is a spring arm (34). The free end of the hook (30) points away from the carrier element (12). The retaining rails (20, 22) are parallel and horizontal. When the unit is assembled, the end of the spring arm (34) is at least the same distance below the upper rail (20) as the hook below the lower rail (22).
