Originals are placed in in-tray or on copying panel, enlargement or reduction selected as required and copy process started. Position of original is sensed, if appropriate including existing holes and copy with holes is produced. Position of original and holes is determined with sensor that produces corresponding signal and evaluated by electronic controller, if appropriate taking into account reduction or enlargement and hole positions to be altered, then holes are punched.
