The friction units (10,11) of a change gear box, which comprises an input and an output shaft, joined by two parallel working transmission units with an intermediate shaft (26,27) and at least one friction unit (10,11), are radial arranged around a central axis (67) in a stepped fashion. The units (10,11) are partly overlapping, resulting in a smaller overall size. If the outer diameter (56) of the friction surface of a first friction unit (10) is kept smaller than the inner diameter (57) of the friction surface of the second unit (11), the axial overlapping area can be maximized. |
