The individual exposure systems which are color specific comprise an LED array, the overlay of filters for each light source element and the geometrical pitches involved both at the filter and at the photoreceptor drum surface. These pitches are designed to blend into and be compatible with each other so that the composite multicolor toner image that emerges has a close knit pattern.
