When transporting infants and young children for transfer or rescue purposes, a problem which very often arises is that of how to secure this group of patients in such a way that they can be conveyed safely on a stretcher in a rescue vehicle or on a trolley in a hospital. In rescue vehicles there are no securing straps for small patients, and in hospitals these small and very often restless patients are conveyed on trolleys without being secured. The romper bag or sleeping bag which can be fixed on a trolley or stretcher device and intended for infants and young children is provided on the left and right lateral edges with at least two straps and click-shut closures or quick closures, so that it can be fixed on a trolley or stretcher. In the shoulder area, which is open, there are again straps with closures, so that the romper bag or sleeping bag can be adapted to the size of a child's body. This type of fixing also affords an additional protection against accidents in the rescue vehicle. The special provision of the zip fasteners on the left and right sides and in the middle of the romper bag or sleeping bag ensures that at any given time there is access to every part of the child's body.
