Photodetector device for distance measurement, distance/image measurement arrangements has switches for selective connection of photodetection zones to output and earth lines

The photodetector device has a processing circuit, output line, earth line, pixel array with corresponding photodetection zones, devices for causing a second switch to isolate its associated photodetection zones from the earth line if a first switch is connecting its associated zones to the output line and devices for causing the second switch to connect its zones to the earth lines if the first switch is isolating its zones from the output line. The photodetector device has a processing circuit, an output line leading to it, an earth line, an array of pixels with corresponding photodetection zones for converting incident light into corresponding electrical signals, devices for causing a second switch to isolate its associated photodetection zones from the earth line if a first switch (SW1) is connecting its associated zones to the output line and devices for causing the second switch (SW2) to connect its associated zones to the earth lines if the first switch is isolating its associated zones from the output line. Independent claims are also included for the following: a distance measurement arrangement and a distance/image measurement arrangement.
