The mortar strip (6) primarily for construction of masonry comprises two outer layers (1, 3) consisting of a water-soluble foil, or a fiber fabric or fleece, and a middle layer (2) which takes the form of an aero fleece and/or a tangled fleece with dry mortar and additives. The three layers are joined to one another. Also claimed are a method for production of masonry with use of the proposed mortar strip, and an application of such strip for pipe lagging.
