Process and apparatus for the manufacture of lead plates for lead-acid batteries

The production method involves a maturing process of the lead plates with a supply of moisture. A drying process is then carried out, for reducing the free lead in a pasty mass with a reduced air humidity, compared to the maturing process. A final drying operation is then carried out. Both plate surfaces are held lying free, for a uniform treatment.
