PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible heat sensitive color developing composition and a reversible heat sensitive recording medium having high storage stability of color developed state and simultaneously excellent achromaticity. SOLUTION: In the reversible heat sensitive color developing composition capable of relatively forming a color developed state and an achromatized state according to the heating temperature and/or the cooling speed after heating by using an electron donative colorational compound and an electron acceptive compound, the composition contains a compound represented by any of formulae (1) to (4) as an achromatization accelerator.
