<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a setup card issuing person to issue a setup card without requesting generating, managing or writing of a serial number proper to a SAM and a setup key corresponding to it. SOLUTION: The setup card issuing person 100 and a SAM manufacturer 200 share a hash function by which the setup key is generated from the serial number in secrecy, and the hash function is mounted on SAM firmware. Because the setup key can be calculated by the hash function shared by the both, the person 100 does not have to generate or manage the serial number and the setup key corresponding to it. A process in which the manufacturer 200 stores the setup key in the SAM can also be eliminated.</p> |
