PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back panel for a vehicle capable of being inexpensively manufactured, and ensuring the sufficient rigidity of a main body without increasing its thickness. SOLUTION: A main body 22 of the back panel 21 is formed into the bag shape by blow molding a transparent resin material. A number plate illumination lamp chamber 27 in an approximately sealed state is partitioned inside of the main body 22. An insertion hole 33 is formed on a number plate illumination lamp chamber corresponding part 31 of the main body 22 for mounting a number plate illumination lamp 32 on a surface 22b opposite to a back door 24, and a window part 34 free from a coating layer 29 is formed on a lower end face 22c for allowing the light from the number plate illumination lamp to transmit therethrough. A rear end surface 22a and the opposite surface 22b of the main body 22 have the coating laver 29.
