<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document preparing device or method having a function for setting the attributes of inputted characters with a small memory capacity without necessitating the moving of the hands of an operator from a home position. SOLUTION: At changing of the color of characters, from for example, black to blue, 'blue' is inputted on a screen, and a conversion key is depressed. Then, 'blue' or the like is displayed in the same way as normal Japanese syllabary/ Chinese character conversion. When it is set as a control code, 'blue' is displayed in blue When this is selected, it is recognized than the previously inputted 'blue' is a control symbol for setting the color of characters to be blue, and the characters representing 'blue' are deleted, and characters to be inputted afterwards are displayed in blue. Also, the characters displayed in blue can be printed in blue, when a color printer is used.</p> |
