PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a heat resistant bolt withstanding use at >=700 deg.C, also small in deterioration in strength even after use for a long time and particularly excellent in relaxation characteristics. SOLUTION: A heat resistant alloy containing, by mass, 0.005 to 0.20% C, <=2% Si, <=2% Mn, 20 to 35% Ni, 10 to 20% Cr, 0.2 to 2.0% Nb+Ta, 1.0 to <3.0% Ti, 1.0 to 2.0% Al, 0.1 to 5.0% Cu, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and in which the atomic ratio of Ti/Al is 0.6 to 1.2 is subjected to solid solution treatment, is thereafter subjected to cold working at a working ratio of >=20%, is formed and is thereafter subjected to aging treatment. Moreover, B, Zr, Mg, Ca, W, Mo, V and rare earth metals can be incorporated therein.
