PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and thin-type high-frequency-carrier-type magnetic sensor capable of accurately detecting magnetism independently of the angle which an external magnetic field forms with a magnetism detecting direction, easily performing offset adjustments, and saving electric power while securing electric power capable of stably impressing a fixed magnetic bias. SOLUTION: The detecting circuit of this magnetic sensor includes a pair of magnetic cores 1 and 2 formed of Co-based amorphism in the same straight line at a predetermined interval on one surface of the same glass substrate, a pair of non-magnetic resistance pieces 3 and 4 formed of at least one type of Ti, Cu, and Cr in parallel with each other at adjacent locations sandwiching the magnetic cores 1 and 2, and electrodes 5-8 formed of the same material as the resistance pieces 3 and 4 to connect the four location of the vicinities of both end parts of the resistance pieces 3 and 4 and both end parts of the magnetic cores. Hard magnetic films 30 and 31 for a fixed magnetic bias for impressing a fixed magnetic bias on the detecting circuit are arranged in parallel with each other at locations sandwiching the detecting circuit.
