PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve aerodynamic performance by enlarging the area of a blade in an axial blower composed of a first orifice ring and a second orifice ring. SOLUTION: This axial blower is composed of an axial impeller comprising blades 4 and a hub 3 connecting the blades 4; a first orifice ring 5 of almost cylindrical shape surrounding the outer periphery of the rear edge part of the impeller, with its tip part formed as an open end; a second orifice ring 8 almost concentrically provided outside of the first orifice ring 5, higher in axial height than the first orifice ring 5 and provided with a straight line part 8a at a part close to the end face of an orifice plate 7 at the open end in a circumferential direction, and the orifice plate 7 for fitting the first orifice ring 5 and the second orifice ring 8. The fan diameter of the axial blower is made large, and the area of the blade 4 is enlarged to improve aerodynamic performance.
