PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article supply method capable of supplying even different kinds of articles uniformly and certainly to a next process. SOLUTION: Articles b are conveyed on a moving conveying means 2 in a random state, transfer states of the articles b are detected one by one by an article detecting means 3, detection information for each article b is transmitted to a control means 4, based on this information a taking means 5 is controlled to be transferred according to the moving speed of the conveying means 2 and receives the articles b on the conveying means 2, and the received articles b are moved according to a moving speed of a processing means 6 and supplied.
