PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance deionizing efficiency and the quality of obtained deionized water by preventing the deflected flow of water in a desalting chamber or concentration chamber to form an equal water flow in the chamber. SOLUTION: Water flow guide plates 20 are provided in a desalting chamber and/or a concentration chamber along a flowing direction of water. A large number of these water flow guide plates 20 are provided in the direction crossing the flowing direction of water and arranged over a plurality of stages in the flowing direction of water so that the water flow guide plates 20 of the stage on a downstream side are positioned between the water flow guide plates 20, 20 of the stage on an upstream side.
