SOLUTION: A cylindrical secondary battery that has a group of spiral pole plates, of which positive and negative pole plates that are equipped with pole plate base and active material supported by pole plate base are wound via a separator. The ends at the central part of the spiral of the positive poly plate and negative poly plate are made asymmetric in their shapes.
