PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate development of a program and to generate a program to take correspondence between work and application data. SOLUTION: A work flow definition tool 170 enables an operator to define a work flow, generates work flow definition 120, a data base definition tool 172 enables the operator to define structure of the application data and generates application data definition 124. A work data base mapping tool 162 as a program by embodying this method reads the definition 120, the definition 124 and a work data base mapping program template 164 as input and outputs a work data base mapping program source code 168. The template 164 is template information of the program to be used when the source code 168 is generated. The source code 168 is the program to take the correspondence between the work and application data.
