PURPOSE: A device and method for detecting the position of a sensorless BLDC motor are provided to present a system for detecting the position of a rotor of a BLDC motor in accordance with the operational process of a micom after forming one insulator except of three insulators as well as an algorithm for the system. CONSTITUTION: A BLDC motor(1) generates the EMF(Electromagnetic Force) for respective phases(L/V/W) in accordance with the rotation of a rotor. First to third comparators(2,3,4) perform a comparison operation for detecting the position of the rotor in accordance with the EMF from the BLDC motor(1) and output the result to a micom. One insulator(10) is connected to the first to third comparators(2,3,4) and the micom so that the micom can output a gate drive signal in accordance with the falling edge or rising edge of the position signals of the rotor compared by first to third comparators(2,3,4).
