The innovation relates to a cartridge for a device for carrying out chemical or biological reactions, in particular, a device for the synthesis of oligonucleotides. Said cartridge comprises a hollow chamber, filled with a support material suitable for the coupling of nucleotides, whereby two opposing faces of the hollow chamber each comprise an opening. Said cartridges can easily be handled in large numbers. The height of the cartridge is preferably greater than the depth of the corresponding recess in the device for the synthesis of oligonucleotides, such that the front face of the cartridge is pressed against the opposing element of the device, forming a seal with said element. |
