PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of obtaining an image without any deterioration of an image quality even though copying is repeatedly executed by preventing toner from splashing at the time of carrying a toner image primarily transferred on an intermediate transfer body. SOLUTION: The intermediate transfer body 5 to which the toner image is primarily transferred is disposed at a position opposed to an image carrier 1. The surface of a light-transmissible conductive base material 5a is provided with a photoreceptive layer 5b in the intermediate transfer body 5, and a light source 9 is arranged at the position on the intermediate transfer body 5 at which the toner image is secondarily transferred to paper. Light is shielded at the intermediate transfer body 5 at other than secondary transfer time, and though the volume resistance value of the photosensitive layer 5b is set to be >=1013 Ω.cm, the light is radiated to the photoreceptive layer from the light source 9 at the secondary transfer time, and the volume resistance value of the photoreceptive layer is controlled to be <=1013 Ω.cm. Also, the intermediate transfer body having a pressure conductive layer is used, and the volume resistance value is reduced by pressing at the secondary transfer time. |
