PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high precision forecast method and system with a high adaptability to the change of the business environment. SOLUTION: This demand forecasting system is provided with a demand- related data inputting means 1, a data base 2 being a storage means, a forecast candidate calculating means 3, an evaluating means 4 based on a plurality of norms, and a forecasted result outputting means 5. An evaluating and selecting means 4 based on the norms can obtain a forecasted value suitable for a business environment by evaluating the candidates for predicted values on the basis of a large number of norms including at least two norms, that is, the maximum gain and the minimum error. |
