PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the impression of pressure on battery body from becoming nonuniform in the heat press process of battery. SOLUTION: In the process of heat pressing of the battery body 1 of nearly sheet shape, by holding the hardness plate over the intermediate plates 22 which are put on both surface of the battery body, the intermediate plates 22 are equipped with a plate body 23 containing engraved area 25 on the adjoining surface with battery body 1 and a rubber type elastic body 24 which is buried on the adjoining surface of the plate body 23. The thickness of the buried rubber type elastic body 24 must be set to become gradually thin from the central area corresponding to the center of the battery body 1 toward the area corresponding to the peripheral area of the battery body 1.
