PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master disk recording method for an optical information recording medium formed with visible image patterns which are visually recognizable without complicating a manufacturing stage and without affecting the reproducing characteristics, such as an increase of jitters in the manufactured optical information recording medium. SOLUTION: The master disk recording method for the optical information recording medium which forms pits by rotating a master disk formed with a photosensitive film and irradiating the master disk with a recording laser beam and forms the visible image patterns by the changes in the width of these pits has a modulating stage for modulating the intensity of the recording laser beam according to recording signals and a scanning stage of scanning the master disk for the optical information recording medium with the recording laser beam in its radial direction by as much as a predetermined distance when recording the pits of the visible image pattern region. |
