PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving scaffold device having good installation workability with an inexpensive structure and to provide an installation method using the moving scaffold device. SOLUTION: A stretch floor 5 is connected to the platform 11 side of the work floor 3 of a carriage movable along railway tracks 12, and a removable support device 6 is arranged between the stretch floor 5 and a track facility plane 13 under it to support the stretch floor 5 with the support device 6. An extruding device 8 expandable between the stretch floor 5 and the floor end section 11b of the platform 11 is installed at the side end section of the platform 11, and the extruding device 8 is pressed to the stretch floor 5 and the floor end section 11b to reinforce and support them.
