<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply apparatus for lowering a peak current drain at the input power source. SOLUTION: Switching transistors of many switching regulators (1010, 1020, 1030) using the common input power source adjust a peak current drain at the input power source. The turn-ON times of the transistors (1012, 1022, 1032) in each switching regulator are arranged in the constant sequence and respective regulators extract a current within the predetermined time in one cycle. The predetermined time for each regulator is selected to minimize the maximum peak current drain at the input power source. As the other embodiment, the turn ON or turn OFF times of switch in each regulator are arranged in the constant sequence and each regulator extracts a current when the regulator immediately before the sequence stops extraction of current.</p> |
