PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkaline permanganate solution electrolytic regenerating device which is additionally improved in regeneration efficiency. SOLUTION: This alkaline permanganate solution electrolytic regenerating device is constituted by arranging anodes 2 of honeycomb-shaped cylindrical bodies into a tank body into which an alkaline permanganate solution is admitted, arranging cathodes which are rod-like conductors and are partly coated with nonconductors on their surfaces into the central parts of the respective cylindrical bodies, constituting the area ratio of the cathodes and the anodes to 1:40 to 1:1000 and connecting the tank body to a desmear treating vessel by a circulating circuit having a circulating pump. Plural notches are formed at the flanks of the respective cylindrical bodies constituting the anodes 2 and recessed parts 2a projected with part of the flanks to the inner sides of the cylindrical bodies and projecting parts 2b projected with part of the flanks toward the outer sides are alternately formed by utilizing these notches.
