PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order situation tracking system capable of grasping the printing order processing situation of, e.g. an image picked up by a digital camera. SOLUTION: A server 30 is connected to at least one printing order receiver 10 that can output image data and printing order information and an image forming device 20 forming a print on the basis of the printing order information outputted from the receiver 10, and can grasp up to which process the print production processing has been performed at the present time because the server 30 detects a processing situation from printing order reception to its printing end on the basis of signals from the receiver 10 and the device 20, stores backup data abut the printing order in accordance with the processing situation. Even when processed data are lost due to an unexpected situation, it is also possible to immediately continue the processing on the basis of the backup data stored in the storing means.
